A DOCUMENTARY Call It Interesting!
I have always been interested in unique, vintage objects and trinkets, so when we had the chance to create a short film, I jumped at the opportunity to meet and interview Denny Daniels, the founder and owner of The Museum of Interesting Things, in Manhattan, NYC. Denny’s little museum was overwhelmingly overflowing with toys, cameras, dolls, photographs, and instruments, that he had collected over many many years. I wanted to not only highlight the objects but also Denny’s story, his hustle, his whimsy and his humour.
I also created the typography and title sequence to reflect old-school vintage films, incorporating sound and animation to imitate a wholesome Denny Daniel’s experience.
